The Breen Dreadnought was a teaser. Here's the real deal with UU.

 

Behind the Scenes:

 

1. Phoenix has plans for some more variants on the Dominion Pack

2. Miri's Hot has some more explosion tweaks - to be combined with Max

Loef's efforts in that area

3. Genty is working on a new cool menu for UU

4. Grunt is busy porting - and doing a great job.

5. JC2006 and Ebak are mapping - so is Chris, haha

6. Mindwipe says that voiceover submissions due by 7/31/07 (more on this

later)

7. Mindwipe, Phoenix, Pille, and Grunt are our Public Relations team -

Pille does translations to German for UU.

8. Remore (Re) and Enigma are busy with the Ultimate Universe for Armada

2.

9. Re has recently helped with implementation of our Revamped website

network.

10. There is an Ultimate Universe DEMO for Starfleet Command II: Empires

At War.

The Ultimate Dominion

After all this time, we're finally nearing completion on the Ultimate

Universe: ULTIMATE DOMINION add-on!

Phoenix and his group of modelers are nearly done with their work on the

Dominion, Cardassians, Breen, and more for UU.

 

So far, we have completed the following ships and updates on ships...

"What You Leave Behind"

 

Based on the Deep Space Nine Episode and COMPLETELY overhauled for the

Dominion Pack, the map you'll find yourself fighting on is completely

new.

It's a definitive point in the Dominion War............Romulan,

Federation and Klingon forces coming together to fight the Dominion

Alliance.............Little do the Breen and Jem'Hadar forces realise

that the tide of battle is about to change, as an old enemy of the

Federation Alliance switches sides at a crucial moment and changes

everything........"Defiant to Fleet, engage......."

 

"Tears of The Prophets"

 

Another map that has been completely overhauled for the Dominion Pack,

this map now is set correctly in the Chin'toka System, constructed from

an image from an actual bridge display. The atmosphere is perfect, while

tense.........You enter the system and realise that all the Cardassian

Defence Turrets are offline..........The system appears to be yours for

the taking, but the Dominion Alliance have a surprise for you just

around the corner...........Literally.Features an accurate as possible

Chin'Toka System, guarded by viscious Defence Posts and Dominion Attack

Fighters............Due to the setup of this map, even losing control of

the fleet when you get destroyed doesn't stop the other ships from

automatically engaging the turrets if possible..........

Finally, look for the unique feature of this map..............Fans of

the episode should notice it..........

 

"The Changing Face of Evil - Part 1"

 

In the episode of "The Changing Face of Evil", Captain. Ben Sisko

recieves word that the Breen have just attacked San Francisco,

Earth.........The Ultimate Universe gives you the chance to defend your

home planet of Earth (ok, so SOME of yours' home planet, lol).You're the

leader of a small squadron charged with fighting off the Breen. It

sounds like an impossible task, but don't be so sure. Remember, San

Francisco was the only casualty of the attack, so who fought them

off?..................Could have been you.

 

A fun, original mission by JC2006 for the Ultimate Universe Mod

 

"The Changing Face of Evil - Part 2"

 

The real battle everyone remembers this episode for, "The Second Battle

of Chin'Toka".Since the events of the first battle of Chin'Toka, the

Chin'Toka System has been held by the Federation

Alliance............However, the Founder has promised the Breen both

Earth and Romulus, the homeworlds of two of the biggest powers in the

quadrant.Things look bleak, Long Range Sensors have detected a large

Dominion Alliance Fleet entering the system, you may lose your lives but

at least you'll take some Dominion with you.A fun and possibly very

difficult map, but come on people, it's canon when you lose

*wink*.........

 

"The Jem'Hadar"

 

This episode is known to fans of the Galaxy Class Starship as the

episode where the USS Odyssey was destroyed when the Jem'Hadar rammed

it's Deflector and Secondary Hull, causing a chain reaction which

ultimately caused the destruction of the ship.In this map, you can take

the helm of the Odyssey and, for the first time in any mod for Star

Trek: Legacy...........A Danube Class Runabout, created for the Ultimate

Universe by Phoenix, which comes complete with two variants and

weapons.A quick, fun addition to the Historic Missions, "The Jem'Hadar"

features the debut of the Danube Class Runabout fittingly........

 

"Balance of Terror"

 

While called the Dominion Alliance Pack, other maps are included to bulk

up the mod further.

In Balance of Terror, you take command of the USS Enterprise. Pivotal in

Star Trek history as the first (and certainly not the last) glimpse of

the Romulans and the discovery that their appearance almost mirrors the

Vulcans.This map features the USS Enterprise, the Romulan Bird of Prey,

an asteroid field and an interesting effect which I'll allow you to

discover for yourselves.

This map is an interpretation and may not be strictly canon. This is

intentional to make it better gameplay-wise and we hope you enjoy

it.......

 

"Revenge of The Enterprise"

 

Humans have apparently matured to a point where revenge is not part of

their lives in the 23rd Century onwards, but, as seen with Picard in the

future, this has proven to be wrong.

In this completely original map, made and owned exclusively by JC2006

for the Ultimate Universe Mod, Captain. James. T. Kirk takes the

refitted Enterprise back in time to that fateful battle against the

Romulan Bird of Prey during the episode "Balance of Terror".........It's

revenge plain and simple, an attempt for the Enterprise to save it's

past self in a way...........You essentially have control of two of the

same Enterprise against one TOS Romulan Bird of Prey.............it

couldn't possibly beat you, right?...........hmm..........*wink*

 

Diplomatic Solutions

In this original mission created and owned exclusively by JC2006 for the

Ultimate Universe, old friends reunite to fight for the greater good.

Two Starships, One Family.............when Diplomatic Solutions fail,

there is only one course of action left........

 

The Trouble With Warp Cores (Teaser for a Map coming to the UUD Pack)

 

In another original mission created and owned exclusively by JC2006 for

the Ultimate Universe Mod, a Galaxy Class Starship reports a warp core

breach was imminent. They've found a way to vent the excess energy and

avoid a breach while the Engineers work to regain control of the core,

but the solution they came to spells trouble for any ship in the

sector........

Update from the top:

 

The Ultimate Universe is planning a release of the Ultimate Dominion 'very soon'.

 

At that time we will be re-compiling the all in 1 download to include EVERYTHING!

 

Rest assured that it will be very easy to play the Ultimate Universe in Multiplayer as

we will also be endorsing a 'standard' install for UU - so everyone is on the same page.

 

There will be a separate release of the Dominion Pack as well.
