Adding the Zipper to Linebacker....

So I figure that in the C:\Program Files\Wings Over Vietnam\Campaigns\LinebackerI text I could just add the 104 and be sound as a pound.... Buuuut this is all I can find ....

And I cannot figure out what parameter there allows me to add/change what Plane I want for the squadrons..... Can anyone help me with this?

The file you've opened is the campaign ini. You need to extract the WOVCAMPL1_DATA.INI, which is in the MissionData.cat, found in the Flight folder. When you extract it, you'll find all the squadrons in the campaign listed. You can change the type they use there. After you modify it, just make sure you move it into the Linebacker 1 campaign folder. If you don't have it, you'll need the cat extracter, which you can find in the downloads here.

This makes zero sence to me. I unzipped using this program and just got a list of things that have nothing to do with individual squadrons... and the one thing on the list that has to do with squads. Basically i have no idea how to use this program.

Follow them step by step and you will get how it works. The reason why you can't fly ias you have it set up in a non player flyable squadron. Read the tutorial it will all come together quickly.

LOL USAFMTL, your gunan think me stupid. I followed the directions in the link you provided and still can get the Zipper to pop up. I now can selct "Linebacker III" as a campaign, And "436TFS" as my squadron ... but the "TFS 4 Fighting Fujins is the one that keeps popping up on me when the game starts....

What happened to UnitID 2 and 4? Could that be the issue? UnitID=xxx must match [AirUnitxxx].

 

Also, make sure the "AircraftType=" entry matches the aircraft EXACTLY.

 

Specifically, if your aircraft is AircraftType=F-104G, the directory holding it must be F-104G AND the ini file inside the directory must say F-104G.ini.
