Airbase rework

Does anybody know if it is possible to rework the existing Airbases to give them another design?

 

I would like to know if I can redesign one of the existing Airbases to the design of the Airbase I was based.

 

Most important is, that the Airbase will still remain as a Airbased used by the sim AI.

Yes you can. It is very slow and mind numbing work but it is totally possible. : )

Didn't someone already create some new bases? I remember seeing the pics a while ago, but forget who did it.

Can you put more Trees around the them?
