Game freezes after 1-5 mins everytime, pls help

Hi! I just got a new Graphics Card for my computer, the old one (nVida Gforce 6800) gave up yesterday :( and now i can't play any longer

My new card is a ATI radeon RX2600XT ver. 8.411.0.0 latest!? Catalyst 7.9

I use win XP, uppdated

 

The problem is....every time i try to play the game freezes up after 1-5 mins and i cant get out of the game, i have turn off the computer the hard way :(

 

I have tryed to lower the graphics to normal and even below normal, nothing changes.....

 

Please help

Go get a new NVidia card. It's easier than trying to get that Radeon to work right.

hm...well, dont have the money for that, just spent the money i had on this card..... Is there realy no way to make this work?????

Radeon cards are known in this game to cause problems. Look in the CA Knowledge Base or search for Radeon cards in here. This is an old problem. What part is it freezing up at? certain aircraft that you are flying or view you are in?

Different aircrafts, always cockpit, i did the search but i'm to stupid to learn anything from it , still browsing through some old threads, the ones i find mostly regard old radeon cards.

I've never had a problem with Radeon cards. Nvidia on the other hand...

Hi! It only frezes in woe and wov, not in for exampel LOMAC, LOMAC is lagging a lot more now than before, it's just playable but not as before.

ctrl+alt+del does nothing, alt+F4 doesn't either, i can't alt+tab my way out of the game.......

Check out your settings in the Catalyst Control Center. It's possible you have a setting there which screws with the game: I recommend going through every setting on it manually to tweak performance. Also, it'd be helpful if you posted your system specs, as it might be another component locking up the game.
