ktickner6767 3 Posted December 27, 2007 Hi guys, I'm new to installing add-on aircraft for the Third Wire series of flight sims. I downloaded an aircraft but it is in a format I have never seen before. It has a ".rar" file extension. Windows XP does not recognize this file extension and asks to find a program on the internet to open it. I conducted a quick search on the internet for a program that would recognize this kind of file but, everything I found was commercial software that required a purchase.
