A10 Mavericks always miss in quick mission

I'm wondering if anyone is experiencing this, or knows what is happening...

 

In the quick mission for the a10 (...the mission you can access via the main menu buttons for each of the planes), I find that my Mavericks ALWAYS hit about 10 feet(?) or so away from the tanks I'm targetting on the ground, even though I appear to have a good lock.

 

Anyone experience that, or know why that might be happening? Mavericks seem to work fine in other missions, just not the quick a10 mission on the main screen.

The missile effectiveness slider needs to be set to 50% or 100%, when it's not this happens with the mavericks.
