tank03 Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 Had plans on visiting a friend in London,UK last summer but they fell through. Trying again this year (10 days in late June)and it looks like it's a go. Already have plane tickets and I'll be staying with a friend so I don't have to worry about a hotel. So I'll ask again (because maybe some things have changed in the last year)but, anyone have any "must see" or "avoid at all costs" ideas?
+DWCAce Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 Be sure to visit the Imperial War Museum in London. Especially the Battle of Britain exhibit (assuming they still have it), it was quite sobering when I did it.

Check out the Hendon RAF Museum, HMS Belfast, the Natural History Museum, the Churchill Museum and the Cabinet War Rooms. If you're prepared to make an hour trip north, the Duxford Air Museum is brilliant.
