EA-4F Skyhawk VAQ-33 "Firebirds"


These aircraft depicts the EA-4F Skyhawks of VAQ-33 "Firebirds", NAS Norfolk, VA, in May, 1972. Special thanx to "Fracture" for creating this beautiful aircraft and to "Starfighter" for his help with the making of this skin.

Thank you very much......... I was in VAQ-33 from May of 1972 to November of 1976............. the squadron was part of FEWSG (Fleet Electronic Warfare Support Group)............ at the time we had two EA-4F, two TA-4F, two F4J 'updates', four EA-3B and one NC-121K (SuperConnie).......... its nice to see a plane from a squadron I was in........... again, thank you..........

I believe the G and D on the tail are reversed.... if I remember right!
