Fatman Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 March 27, 2008 Install BOB with all the up dates into WOE. When I go to Anti_Ship, the ships are moving down the city streets. When the target is destroyed it sinks into the ground. Is there way I can get the ships to water? Thanks Fatman Quote
Guest Bounder Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 Do you have all the latest patch's? http://www.gamespot.com/pc/sim/battleofbri...=tabs;downloads Quote
jtin Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 lol Bounder, I think what Fatman is talking about is the BOB mod here... it's probably caused by missing or problematic shipping routes in the terrainname_movements.ini. Most likely the former, all you have to do is take an application such as KMD and look at the grid numbers in the lower left corner and transplant the numbers into the movement.ini. Voila! You have ships in the sea! Quote
Guest Bounder Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 ok ,but was based on this search: http://www.google.com/search?ie=UTF-8&...tian+flight+sim Quote
+Baltika Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 (edited) There is a known problem with the terrain_movement.ini file that shipped with BoB v0.60 - completely my fault, sorry. There is a quick fix posted in the BoB campaign feedback thread - I know, it's getting hard to find what you want. Here's the fix:- ************************************************************* OK, here's a quick fix to the "ships that sail on land" problem:- Open up the Battle of Britain_movement.ini file in wordpad or notepad. Scroll down to [Route007] and [Route008] Cut and paste the following as replacements:- [Route007] RouteType=SHIPPING StartArea=Port of Brighton EndArea=Portsmouth Harbour RoutePosition[001]=712000,570500 RoutePosition[002]=666666,570000 RoutePosition[003]=630000,562000 RoutePosition[004]=598000,570000 [Route008] RouteType=SHIPPING StartArea=Port of Le Havre EndArea=Port of Cherbourg RoutePosition[001]=727750,413000 RoutePosition[002]=578000,456000 RoutePosition[003]=540000,456000 Save your amended _movement.ini file. Go and sink some ships I will thoroughly overhaul the _movement.ini file for the next release, as we now have many more port facilities thanks to Gepard's hard work on updating his terrain. In the meantime, thanks for the bug report, keith. If anyone else spots any odd behaviour, drop me a line. Cheers, baltika **************************************************************** This issue will be resolved when BoB v0.61 patch is released. Cheers, Baltika Edited March 28, 2008 by Baltika Quote
