Canadair Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 Prolly asked somewhere else, I am looking. Should someone has spare time, I d appreciate to know how to place a decal on a mesh when you don't have access to the 3d file. ( I.E the Position= in the declas.ini) ; normally I go by trial and error, but this time I can't get it. Can someone point me in the direction please? Quote

+Gocad Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 Aircraft_data is a good suggestion. An alternative would be looking at the .OUT file, if available. And FastCargo's ruler tool should make it a lot easier now to determine decal positions... Quote
+HrntFixr Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 The .OUT file will give you mesh names. From there it's trail and error. This post has the decal tutorial that I still use to this day for placing decals in the TW series... http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?showt...mp;#entry111041 Quote
