Canadair Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 Prolly asked somewhere else, I am looking. Should someone has spare time, I d appreciate to know how to place a decal on a mesh when you don't have access to the 3d file. ( I.E the Position= in the declas.ini) ; normally I go by trial and error, but this time I can't get it. Can someone point me in the direction please?

Gocad Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 Aircraft_data is a good suggestion. An alternative would be looking at the .OUT file, if available. And FastCargo's ruler tool should make it a lot easier now to determine decal positions...
HrntFixr Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 The .OUT file will give you mesh names. From there it's trail and error. This post has the decal tutorial that I still use to this day for placing decals in the TW series... http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?showt...mp;#entry111041
