Wolf65 Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 (edited) I guessing that the F-16 (the shot down one) is from 555th based in Italy (Aviano), if I remeber it's markings right, it has an eagle on the tail. It's tail and canopy are in the Yugoslav Air Museum and i had a look at it last year when me and my dad whent there. Edited April 2, 2008 by Wolf65 Quote

FastCargo Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 Yes, both pilots (F-117 and F-16) survived and were rescued. FastCargo http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1999_NATO_bom...c_of_Yugoslavia Quote
+ST0RM Posted April 5, 2008 Posted April 5, 2008 Yes, both pilots were rescued. I launched out both CSAR flights on each of those nights. They were a 3-Ship formation of 2 MH-53M Pavelow and a single MH-60G Pavehawk. You should have seen the looks on our faces when we got the brief that a -117 had gone down. Storm Quote
