I guessing that the F-16 (the shot down one) is from 555th based in Italy (Aviano), if I remeber it's markings right, it has an eagle on the tail.

It's tail and canopy are in the Yugoslav Air Museum and i had a look at it last year when me and my dad whent there.

Yes, there is and an ejection seat too, i think.

Yes, both pilots (F-117 and F-16) survived and were rescued.

Yes, both pilots were rescued. I launched out both CSAR flights on each of those nights. They were a 3-Ship formation of 2 MH-53M Pavelow and a single MH-60G Pavehawk.

 

You should have seen the looks on our faces when we got the brief that a -117 had gone down.
