Guest ansons2 Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 Hello gepard, Thanks for your Terrain Tutorial. I am trying to create a terrain using SFP1 texturelist. I succeed to create the first steps (copy/rename of the .ini and .hfd and .tfd), copy of the textures, importing the dem file (I found that I had to decrease a lot the height % to get a reasonable height for the mountains). But each time I am trying the Autotexture feature I get a CTD. I can fly over the terrain if I use the stock .tfd file but the textures are misplaced. Using the Transition textures is OK. I have checked that I have all textures in the texturelist folder as 256 x 256 pixels .bmp files. Do you have any idea, why the Autotexture feature fails ? Thanks for your help. Quote

To solve the problem i tried to open the SFP1 standard Desert terrain with the TexturelistDesert.ini Then i autotextured the terrain saved the texturelist and from this moment it was possible to autotexture any other terrain with Desert tiles.
