PG_Raptor Posted August 27, 2003 Posted August 27, 2003 Being a WWII sim pilot and a current student (I should be getting my license soon!), I know a lot about the theory of flight and other aspects of flying. One spot that I am sore at though is modern jet fighter avionics. Can anyone give me a link that explains the different types of, say, radar modes and sweeps, the advantages and disadvantages of each, and a lot of other stuff that has to do with fighter avionics? I'll be learning with the demo as fast as I can, but I'd like to have at least an idea of what I'm doing... Thanks! Quote
PRecog Posted August 28, 2003 Posted August 28, 2003 The closest information I could find on the F15 avionics used in LOMAC was from Janes 15 manual. You can download that here: http://www.replacementdocs.com/docs/PC/ind...ex.php?skip=300 Quote
splode Posted August 28, 2003 Posted August 28, 2003 Check out Baskat's site. It explains the Janes F/A-18s radar pretty well. Quote
Inferno Posted August 28, 2003 Posted August 28, 2003 Check out Baskat's site. It explains the Janes F/A-18s radar pretty well. That's an excellent resource fo the F-18's radar. I had lost that link some time ago. Thanks. Quote
