Questions about multiplayer gaming

Hi guys!!! I have a few questions about multiplayer gaming:

 

1) Which is the best way to make/join a multiplayer session using WoE?

2) It's possible to make a multiplayer session using different sims (SFP1, SFG, WoV and Woe)????

2. not sure really - think SF Gold could play online with Strike fighters - but as for the other versions there may be too many differences. Usually both players have to have the same installs with the same jets etc.
