Hello!

I like the Lear, it's use in many AF as VIP transport.

you have to export it using the TW exporter plugin, avaible here or at TW site.

than you just ned to take Some Plane .ini documentation, and change the .LOD, Skin and name of it.

BTW you can edit the aircraft_DATA.ini to modify the aircraft behavior ;)

The German AF has some on contract as EW Aggressors. I believe they are -35s though and only a couple of -25s left. Anyhow, they carry a variety of pods under the wings to simulate other aircraft or threats to ships during exercises. Could be something to add.

Before you begin to edit INI files and even export the model to LOD file, check if you´ve done all needed points, like linking parts into proper hierarchy, set all pivot points correct, set all animations to the correct parameters and so on. Take a look in the TW exporter notes, wich either come with the exporter, or are seperate availlable.

When this is done, you MUST create a new, or modify an existing DATA.ini file for the aircraft. At least mesh names, animation numbers and engine positions need to match your model, otherwise it won´t work.

When you animate something in 3ds MAX with the keys 1-10, you can use this animation with the number "1" in game. Keys 11-20 is number 2 and so on. But this is also covered in the exporter notes. Please use them! Here´s the link: Exporter Notes on CA

I found the article I was looking for. Air International March 2008, 'On Target - With German Learjets'.

Here is a list of the A/C that they have:

Learjet 35A (except as noted)

D-CARL

D-CGFA

D-CGFB

D-CGFC

D-CGFD <-Learjet 36A

D-CGFE <-Learjet 36A

D-CGFF

D-CGFG

D-CGFH

D-CGFI

D-CGFJ

Checksix also has some information on the company:

To say first, your age doesn´t matters at all. I started modeling some several years ago and still learn new things every day.

For tutorials, search the download section for Mustang´s video tutorials on 3d modeling and make your way through the knowledge base. Nearly every section of INI files are covered there.
