just had a go @ flying the thunderstorm with a headache (think i have a cold coming on)

 

anyway - bring on the IR mav's is all i can say! how hard is it to find and track those vehicles through all that rain?!

 

oh had to lower my res to get a decent fps -

once u loose them in a tight turn thats it ur looking for them all over..

 

oh and keeping below the celing of the clouds is also a must, otherwise its ground 1 hog 0

I believe that I read in another thread that you are using an ATI card. I'm using a 9800 pro myself and all I get is a black screen in the Maverick TV display.

 

How do you manage to lock on to the AAA in the Kamenta or Kamenta 2 missions?

 

I tried to zoom in the hud with the "/" and "*" keys of the keypad, but still I'm almost within his range while I get a good enough ID to loose the missile. Am I missing out on a better way to zoom in?

all i get is a black TV as well..

 

but i use the hud to place my crosshair over the target and lock-on..

 

how do i know which 1 is the Zuse? cos the first time i flew this mission, i totally over flew the column.. and nearly got the peverbial sh!t shot out of me :)

 

its so easy to miss these guys in all the rain..

i'm getting my new camera today (canon eos 300d) so i'll b reading the manual 2night and getting used to it over the next couple of days, so doubt i'll b flying for a few nights..

 

still have to fly the mission with the KA-50's

 

apparently theres another mission out with a stupid amount of air defense..

New Kamenka 4 missions.

 

It includes:

 

SAM vehicles (Roland ADS & Tunguska 2C6M) have replaced some of the ZSU on the previous version.

Mission starts on the runway now with 6 Mavs each plane.

 

Kamenka 4 missions require you to download and install the SAM pack (sam_pack.zip) created by JG77Von_Hess.
