mppd Posted October 27, 2008 Posted October 27, 2008 I believe that two carriers off the coast of Vietnam tried camo in 1966 combat cruises. The net results were that the planes were hard to fly formation with, and deck handling was more difficult at night - it was scrapped. Seen on RA-5C, F-4B/G, A-4 and A-6A that I know of. Mike D.
