Looked over the KB and couldnt find anything on adding an RWR. Specifically I'm trying to add one to the F-100D. I'm looking to replace the clock or LABS gauge for the final visual screen. I've created an avionics.ini file for it, with only the RWR info (which should give me the audio portion) but it still isnt working.

Any idea?

Here's the avionics.ini:

[TextureData]

[AvionicsData]

[RadarDisplay]

[RadarDisplaySearch]

[RadarDisplayAcquisition]

[RadarDisplayTrack]

[RadarDisplayBoresight]

[RadarDisplayGround_Map]

[RWR]

Type=3_RING

AirSearchTexture=RWRair1.tga

AirTrackTexture=RWRair2.tga

AirLockTexture=RWRair2.tga

GroundSearchTexture=RWRground1.tga

GroundTrackTexture=RWRground2.tga

GroundLockTexture=RWRground2.tga

SearchPosition=0.90

TrackPosition=0.55

LockPosition=0.15

SearchSize=0.075

TrackSize=0.075

LockSize=0.075

SearchFlash=FALSE

TrackFlash=TRUE

TrackFlashRate=0.2

LockFlash=TRUE

LockFlashRate=0.1

TrackSound=SAMTrack.wav

LockSound=SAMLock.wav

[RWRTrackSound]

Priority=HIGH

3DSound=FALSE

Looped=TRUE

NumBuffers=1

[RWRLockSound]

Priority=HIGH

3DSound=FALSE

Looped=TRUE

NumBuffers=1

I've cleared out the radar info, since it didnt have one. This should work.

Thanks in advance.

There is a tut in the KB on "Adding an Audio-Only RWR" ... I should know, since I "invented" the itme, and wrote the procedure

As to adding the gauge...already done that Stormy!!!

make sure the RWR.bmp is IN the cockpit folder

It replaces the 2ndar ADI.

Open the F-100D_cockpit ini and add/change the following:

Instrument[039]=RWR

//Instrument[039]=ADI2_Roll

//Instrument[040]=ADI2_Pitch

stick this at the bottom....

[RWR]

Type=RWR

NodeName=ADI2

This is your new "F-100D_Avionics.ini"

[TextureData]

RWRTexture=cockpit\f-4e_rwr.bmp

[RWR]

Type=3_RING

AirSearchTexture=RWRair1.tga

AirTrackTexture=RWRair2.tga

AirLockTexture=RWRair2.tga

GroundSearchTexture=RWRground1.tga

GroundTrackTexture=RWRground2.tga

GroundLockTexture=RWRground2.tga

SearchPosition=0.90

TrackPosition=0.55

LockPosition=0.15

SearchSize=0.075

TrackSize=0.075

LockSize=0.075

SearchFlash=FALSE

TrackFlash=TRUE

TrackFlashRate=0.2

LockFlash=TRUE

LockFlashRate=0.1

TrackSound=RWRTrackSound.wav

LockSound=RWRLockSound.wav

[RWRTrackSound]

Priority=HIGH

3DSound=FALSE

Looped=TRUE

NumBuffers=1

[RWRLockSound]

Priority=HIGH

3DSound=FALSE

Looped=TRUE

NumBuffers=1

works on F-104s too, as I did this for the KLU mod (may be listed in the Bunyap Pak Weapons and Other Fixes Thread)
