cgold Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 I recently had a data recovery done on my computer. All my pictures, MSFS 2002, WOV, WOE, and WOI stuff works. My dearest SFp1 didn't, though. Go figure the one I modded the most moked. I re-installed it, re-installed the service pack and the patch, and now the basics work. I still have all my modded planes, ground vehicles, and my weaponry, but something tells me that I could choose what year I flew in. The simulator is going off the start year of each aircraft. How do I change the years the simulator go off of or how do I choose what year I fly in? Quote
Nightshade/PR Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 Change the Period End date in the SingleMission ini located in the Flight Folder. Quote
+Spectre_USA Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 (edited) Well, the flight folder doesn't have a SingleMission.ini, unless you extract it. Go to the root folder, open up the options.ini, and look for this; [singleMission] AircraftType=F-16A_Netz MissionMap=SCAL MissionType=STRIKE MissionTime=RANDOM MissionWeather=RANDOM AirActivity=RANDOM AirDefenseActivity=RANDOM LoadMission=FALSE LoadMissionFilename=F-15A_vs_MiG-23MF_(1v1).MSN MissionYear=2005 StartYear=1960 <<--Change this EndYear=1985 <<-- and this. Service=ISRAEL __EDIT__ Needed a splash of color! Edited January 6, 2009 by Spectre_USA Quote
cgold Posted January 7, 2009 Author Posted January 7, 2009 I'm working on trying to get the right patches or 'service packs' downloaded. I just need that 'year selector' pull-down menu to appear. Other than that, I'm ready to go. Thank you for you all's input. Quote
