New pod's for Su-17M, Su-17M2, Su-17M3, Su-22M

Recommended Posts

Know you or not, but all planes of Su-17/22 Mig-27 family can use ARM missile ONLY with 2 special pod's

1) L-086 V'yuga for Kh-58, Kh-27 , 2) Metel for Kh-28

Su-17M, Su-22M can use only 1 Kh-28 on special pylon + metel pod, Su-17M3 can us 2x Kh-58 or Kh-27 with L-086 pod or 1 Kh-28 1 Kh-28 on special pylon + metel pod

For using CGR MIg-23M,ML,MLD,Su-17M2,Su-17M3,Su-17M4,Su-22M,Su-22M3,Su-22M4 needs Delta-NG pod? Su-17 noot nned this, because control eqipm placed on this air intake.

I made Metel, V'yuga, Kh-28 pylon LOD's, working on Delta-NG, early i made Projector - laser pod for Su-17M2 only (Su-17M cant' use LGR , Su-17M3,M4,Su-22M3,Su-22M4 have internal LP (Klen-PS,Klen-54))

All of them + MIG-23/27 update data.in + loadout will be included in new version Su-17/22 pack

YES! Wjuga and Metiel will be very nicely!

But two things:

1: In my knowledge Su-17/22M2/3 version has internal "Fon" LP witch can only check the distance. Maby some later M3 version has Klon/Klen...I'm not sure...

2: About picture 4 -Fitter with kh-58: this missile can be added only for fuselage pylons -but Kh-27/25MP are only 2 on external wings pylons :http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?showtopic=28952

1) Su-17, Su-17M, Su-20A,B - NONE

Su-17M2 - Laser range meter 'Fon' + LP 'Projector' on pylon ~ 6-12 Deg Gimble Limit, only LGR

Su-22(Export version of Su-17M2 with R-29B engine) - NONE

Su-17M3 Early (1976-1977) - Laser range meter 'Fon' + LP 'Projector' on pylon ~ 6-12 Deg Gimble Limit, only LGR

Su-17M3(since N39 factory serie 1978 year) - Laser designator Klen-PS - 30 Deg gimble limit - only LGR

Su-22M(Export version of Su-17M3 with R-29BS engine) - Laser range meter 'Fon'

Su-22M3(Export version of Su-17M3 with R-29BS-300 engine) - Laser designator Klen-PS - 30 Deg gimble limit - only LGR

Su-17M4/22M4 - Laser designator Klen-54 120 Deg gimble limit LGR,LGB,EOGR,EOGB

2) You right, but i need special pylons for use Kh-58 on fuselage, missiles must move forward to prevent L086 pod contact, i can't make new special station for KH-58 because game have only 6 weapons group restriction

P.S. i made Delta-NG2, L066 (V'yuga for MiG's-23-27) Pod's just wait sreenshots...

MiG-23MLD with Delta-NG2 pod (not sure about position, some sources said: 'pod on left wing 1 missile on right wing', or 'Pod placed on unused rear fuselage pylon(almost MIG-23's have 2 rear fuselage pylons for bombs, but they NEVER USED, and demounted at once on air bases) + 2 Kh-25R missiles

1,2 station :BOMB,RP

1s,2s:FT and maby GP but I'm not sure...

1r,2r: ARM,CGR,LGR,EOGR and RCKT like s-24 but not sure

7,8:BOMB

Problem is, that all existence for TW series Su-17/20/22 models has only four fuselage stations: 1,2,7,8 so trying to make realistic attachments is dificult...

Not sure why 6 groups are not enough for You:

1 group: 3,4

2 group: 9,10

3 group: 5

4 group: 6

5 group: 0,1,2,1s,2s,1r,2r,7,8

so You have one group free for some pylons...like my AKU-58 from my mod

3: maby this help...
