AJAY67 Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 Hi community, I was making a bit of an assumption about something, but I thought I'd be better off posting a question so that I do not make a hash of things. OK, in the past, when I have removed the Cessna O1, the sim allocates another type of aircraft to be "Snoopy". What I was wanting to do is remove some of the "older" type aircraft from the sim (such as the MiG-17) to being the equipment more into line with the operational dates of a "Cold War". What I would like to know, is if I were to do so, would this cause things such as a campaign crash? Or has this never been done? Thanks all, Andrew. Quote

Thanks all, Andrew. you could cause a campaign to crash if its one of those specifically listed in the campaign. Outside of that - no, there is no problem at all. Quote

Simply so I can fly a "free flight" with no enemy interference (for testing etc, or just for the hell of it). I make sure I never select campaign that's all. In answer to the original question Andrew, Typhoid is quite correct. To use the campaign without problems you would need to replace the deleted aircraft with another type of your choice.
