SBD Dauntless, VS-8 USS Hornet, Battle of Midway Skin set - For SF/WoV/WoE WW2 PTO Installs-

This is a skin set representing VS-8 aboard USS Hornet, June 4, 1942 during the Battle of Midway.

Yorktown and Hornet used a slightly different numbering style than Enterprise; having the numbers aft of the fuselage star.

 

It's a standard non-specular blue over gray, with the "modex" or plane-in-group numbers in white. Aircraft type name and BuNum decals are also included.

It's pretty much standard for the time, with the exception of the lettering being aft of the fuselage star

*yes, I know that both VB-8 and VS-8 never found the Carrier Striking Force, but hey, why not have the skins for the OTHER attacks they participated in, humm???*
