Maeran 20 Posted March 21, 2009 (edited) Just got the latest addition to my flightsim goodness, a set of Saitek pedals. Very nice and work a treat in Flight Simulator. In OFF unfortunately, the rudder axis conflicts with my joystick. The obvious thing to do is disable the twist axis on the stick. But that's my problem, I can see how to change button assignments, but not axis. I can't use the stick's own software for this, because it is a Sidewinder precision pro, and XP doesn't support the software. It's a really nice stick and has lasted me 10 years without a hitch. It's a bit of a pain that the two work together in FSX and FS9, but not OFF (CFS3). Is there any way around this without getting a new stick? sitting_duck 3 Posted March 21, 2009 (edited) Just out of curiosity,,is this a gameport joystick, or a usb joystick? And when you say xp does not support it, do you mean the joystick itself or the software that lets you program the stick (or both....) Maeran 20 Posted March 22, 2009 It was originally a gameport stick, but it did come with a USB adapter. In any case, it's the programming software that isn't supported.
