Dual Core Optimizer

Hello everyone!

I was just wondering whether the AMD dual core optimizer should be applied to my AMD quad core computer as well? I am running Vista64 and see that affinity mask is sing all four cores, but does this really mean Im running the four cores as well as one can without this optimizer patch?

Well FSX can use something like 256 cores, supposedly.... But then that took three releases and still leaves much to be desired as far as optimizing CPU performance. I guess it's obvious then that overall processor speed is more important than number of cores for code written nearly a decade ago now. The dream of OFF4 as a standalone product truely optimized for dual and quad and integrated seemlessly into 64bit... That's the plan right guys?
