paulopanz Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 Very good upgrade I like the new silver skins very much, and the new Mig-15UTI's FM. Bravo If I could explain I have two simple quick fixes for you from my dusty HD: 1) The nose gear turn out of the axis in Mig-15bis only In Mig-15bis.ini try this: [LOD001] Filename=MiG-15bis.lod Distance=700 ;[LOD002] ;Filename=MiG-15bis_001.LOD ;Distance=700 [LOD002] Filename=MiG-15bis_002.LOD Distance=6000 Now it turns right. 2) Open Canopy I have two options, choose which You like more A) Fast and easy: [Tailhook] SystemType=ARRESTOR_HOOK <---- change this with ARRESTER_HOOK MaxDeflection=30.0 Retractable=TRUE DeployTime=1.0 ModelNodeName=cockpitframe AnimationID=7 Then press "H" as usual B) Little Better (for me): 1) edit this: [Fuselage] ....... ....... SystemName[005]=Tailhook <---- change this with CANOPY 2) Delete entire [Tailhook] section 3) Paste this in the CREW changing entire section Mig-15 UTI [Pilot] SystemType=PILOT_COCKPIT PilotModelName= Position=0.0,1.75, 0.8 SeatModelName=Seat-M15 SeatPosition=0.0,1.77, 0.37 MinExtentPosition=-0.25, 1.60, 0.91 MaxExtentPosition= 0.25, 2.85,-0.40 HasArmor=TRUE ArmorMaterial=GLASS Armor[FRONT].Thickness=64 CanopyNodeName=Canopy CanopyAnimationID=7 [CoPilot] SystemType=PILOT_COCKPIT PilotModelName= Position=0.0,0.79, 0.9 SeatModelName=Seat-M15 SeatPosition=0.0,0.81, 0.47 MinExtentPosition=-0.25, 0.65,-1.01 MaxExtentPosition= 0.25, 1.65, 0.91 HasArmor=TRUE ArmorMaterial=GLASS Armor[bACK].Thickness=64 CanopyNodeName=Canopy CanopyAnimationID=7 [Canopy] SystemType=ANIMATION InputName=ANIMATION_10 DeploymentMethod=MANUAL AnimationTime=1.0 AnimationID=7 Mig-15bis [Pilot] SystemType=PILOT_COCKPIT PilotModelName= Position=0.0,1.75, 0.8 SeatModelName=Seat-M15 SeatPosition=0.0,1.77, 0.37 MinExtentPosition=-0.25, 1.60, 0.91 MaxExtentPosition= 0.25, 2.85,-0.40 HasArmor=TRUE ArmorMaterial=GLASS Armor[FRONT].Thickness=64 Armor[bACK].Thickness=64 CanopyNodeName=Canopy CanopyAnimationID=7 [Canopy] SystemType=ANIMATION InputName=ANIMATION_10 DeploymentMethod=MANUAL AnimationTime=1.0 AnimationID=7 Then you have to use the proper animation key, that for me is 10 Happy Hunting Paolo Quote
suhsjake Posted March 29, 2009 Author Posted March 29, 2009 (edited) Thanks Paulopanz. I'll try these and incorporate them. v1.1 should be out today or tomorrow. Also, the engine sound doesn't change. So I got to try to figure out what could be causing that. Has someone got ordways MiG-15 cockpit to work in SF2? I just get crashes and that is why it has the Hunter Cockpit. Change log for v1.1 -New Canopy System (Thanks to Paulopanz) -Disabled Second and Third Lod on MiG-15bis (Thanks to Paulopanz) -Rebuilt Engine Section based on the IL-28 -Added MiG-15 Sound by Tazkiller Edited March 29, 2009 by suhsjake Quote
paulopanz Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 Thanks Paulopanz. I'll try these and incorporate them. v1.1 should be out today or tomorrow. Also, the engine sound doesn't change. So I got to try to figure out what could be causing that. My pleasure, Sir. About the sound I tell you what I did. I edited: [sound] EngineSoundName=MiG-15Engine Then I made a new "SOUNDS" folder with the MiG-15Engine.wav in. It works fine in my SPF2 ! Paolo Quote
suhsjake Posted March 29, 2009 Author Posted March 29, 2009 (edited) What I meant was the sound pitch doesn't change when changing the throttle setting. I almost forgot about Tazkillers sound's also. EDIT: Based the engine around the IL-28 Engine (which also uses the VK-1). It will be reuploaded later today. EDIT 2: Uploading the v1.1 Edited March 29, 2009 by suhsjake Quote
paulopanz Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 All things now seems work properly. It's a new model. Good job. The SEAT_M15 files, I don't know why, has to be put for showing in a "pilots" folder in the objectcs foder. Now I'll try the cockpit and I'll tell you about it. Paolo Quote
suhsjake Posted March 30, 2009 Author Posted March 30, 2009 (edited) hmm, no wonder why it wasn't showing up. Thanks Again paulo. I think I might do an S-103 and CS-102 in a bit. Edited March 30, 2009 by suhsjake Quote
paulopanz Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 Cockpit Troubles After some testings I Can say that the problems are with new A-4B pit Ordway's cockpits that have a modded A-4B cockpit are harder to update (i'm testing) but I adapteded Mk2's older Mig_cockpit_V2.0 that is a simpler repaint. To use: extract from SFP1, Wov or Woe or Woi with extractors: A-4B_COCKPIT.INI A-4B_COCKPIT.LOD Put them in the cockpit folder and then copy the A-4B_COCKPIT.INI outside in main aircraft folder, too. It works, and if You like You can use as a placeholder, waitng for better pits. Bye. Paolo P.S. I'm waiting your other models Quote
paulopanz Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 ALL SOLVED !!! First SEAT: Chek: SEAT_M15.ini [LOD001] Filename=Seat-M15.LOD <--------- edit this to: Seat_M15.LOD Distance=900 Then Ordway's Cockpit: Chek: MiG-15bis_COCKPIT.ini [RangeCounter] Type=RANGE_INDICATOR CounterNodeFormat=distance_dig%Remd <--------- change this to: distance_dig%d MovementType=ANALOG_COUNTER ValueUnit=NM Now the model is really near perfect and You only need a pilot, my friend, better the original WW2pilot and the basic one. +suhsjake Posted April 2, 2009 Author Posted April 2, 2009 Templates is for building your own skin. As for the big 37mm cannon, you have to go under controls and look for secondary guns and set a button to shoot. BTW, to CA. Quote
