Porked install of ods?

I've just installed ODS, i've followed all the steps, new install of WOE, patch up to OCT08, Delete campaign folder and all aircraft in objects\aircraft\ but everytime I go into instant action I get a CTD and when I start a custom mission the date ends at 1985?. Have a missed a step out or something?

I have to ask...you didn't delete all aircraft after ODS installation did you ?

Have you changed the dates in the options.ini?

Did you run all THREE installers?

 

The first installer puts an OPTIONS.INI in the main directory, set up for the proper years, and to allow instant action to work.

 

Your CTD'ing because you have the stock OPTIONS.INI. That's why you can't select beyone 1985. Also, with the default file, INSTANT ACTION is wanting to use the F-15A, which is now gone from your ODS install, hence the CTD.
