TheStig Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 At 30,000 feet I'm sure my pilot is getting a hell of a draft, yet with a severe lack of oxygen at 230 knots.....the canopy stays open! How do I fix? Should I just reinstall it?
+331Killerbee Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 (edited) The reason why is that it's set up as a High Lift Device in the Data.ini. Like this...... [Canopy] SystemType=HIGHLIFT_DEVICE DeploymentMethod=AUTOMATIC_SPEED Setting[1].Angle=30.0 Setting[1].DeployValue=15.0 Setting[1].RetractValue=10.0 MaxDeflection=30.0 MinDeflection=0.0 ControlRate=0.3 AnimationID=4 Try This...... [Canopy] SystemType=ANIMATION InputName=ANIMATION_1 DeploymentMethod=MANUAL AnimationTime=15.0 AnimationID=4 What ever Your ANIMATION_1 is Mapped to in the Controls.INI in the Menu Screen will open it.... +Muesli Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 Killerbee's answer is the best one. then you decide yourself to open or close the bubble. For the rest, the knowledge base is your friend (as this question is actually answered there...) Cheers, enjoy the TW world
