Abhi 3 Posted September 20, 2010 Well these r just rumors IAF sources say they even haven't opened the bids,only field testing is complete. and to all who think Mig-35 will win this,i bet even gripen can win this competetion.still u ppl think why the Indians,err im too Indian.ok so we Indian floated the tender to get western stuff,otherwise dont u think ordering more sukhois wud be better than a Mig-35. Mig was allowed to convince Russia that we r not playing bad game(which we are),we dont want to depend upon 1 country,The PAK-FA is already going on with Russia. The choice for Tejas engine clearly shows our priorities only western engine manufacturers were approached , not any single Russian engine maker was approached,whoever wins this contract will hv a significant impact on MMRCA selection procedure.
