Been busy doing all that we "snow birds" do this time of the year. Flying a camel at 90+ and have a few kills after 12 missions.

Question--- How is the update 1.30 and the "hard damage' option working out?

Thanks for your thoughts. CW3SF { turned 72 last Saturday }

After 1.30 patch I went back to "normal" damage. Seems more real this way. After flying on "hard" DM for a long time I liked the way my plane could take more than one hit, but it is way too hard to bring down some enemy planes on "hard" IMHO.

I'm liking it, myself. I don't have too much trouble bringing down huns in my trusty SE5a, but I like to get very up close and personal on my targets. At range I have to bang away all day to get one smoking. Had 7 kills on 15 missions with 56 Squadron, but lost it when I had to do a reinstall, dang it!

To be honest, I have not notice any difference in the amount of damage my a/c can take, esp ground fire. My Albatros II was severely damaged (engine) by two well placed shots from a rear gunner in a 1/2 Stutter just passing by, at least 100 yds away. Will fly some more missions in differnet a/c before making a decision to revert back to "normal".
