Almost a year ago I finished a movie starring SIMMOD's A-10 flown on our server by our squadron. About 3 months ago I got a message saying it was being removed because WMG (Warner Music Group) were disputing the copyright. I didn't know my rights but thankfully I caught a post over at ED and followed the directions spelled out

. I re-uploaded the vid and even before processing was complete it was flagged for removal. I followed the directions and voila! My vid was "approved". You can check out CAS on my YouTube page. I know many of you have seen it but check it out again. It's a lot of fun to watch.

I wanted to spread the word that the RIAA and WMG are a bunch of douches who could care less about fair use and non-profit. Thankfully our congressmen have enacted laws to protect the consumer, these have been in effect since 1976. There are laws protecting fair use in almost every country. Score one for the little guy in this case.
