Can you be more specific?

FC

When I adding a new weapon, in SF2, in the weapon.ini, see example below:

[WeaponData]

ObjectFullName=230 gal Drop Tank

ObjectDataFile=Tank230_F84_data.ini

[LOD001]

Filename=Tank_F84.lod

Distance=2000

[shadow]

CastShadow=TRUE

ShadowCastDist=2000

MaxVisibleDistance=100

[TextureSet001]

Specular=0.000000 ?????????????????????????

Glossiness=0.000000 ?????????????????????????

Reflection=0.000000 ?????????????????????????

Which values, for Specular, Glossiness and Reflection??

From what I know about Weapons, The Textures are not handled like the Textures of Aircraft or Ground Objects. I may be wrong in this assumption. But if those Values were important, The Weapons Editor would have created them in the first place. And it did not when I converted Weapons from WOX to SF2. The "Default" .INI's supplied in Game don't have these Entries either.....Sorry.

(Again, I say the "Default or Stock" .INI's don't have these Entries in the Object.Cat........)

They are just the settings for that weapons skin only

You can change those values to your liking through trial and error but it shouldnt affect any planes - the planes skins have their own texture settings.

Will add that you dont need to put the texture settings into a weapons.ini file - it will just use defaults if you dont

ie

[WeaponData]

ObjectDataFile=AIM-4C_data.INI

ObjectFullName=AIM-4C Falcon

[LOD001]

Filename=AIM-4D.lod

Distance=500

[shadow]

CastShadow=TRUE

ShadowCastDist=4000

MaxVisibleDistance=100
