multiple keys

For some reason, commands requiring multiple keys don't seem to work very well. In particular the view commands (anything view from Shift-F6 and up to F12). They are really hit or miss with mostly misses..

 

Suggestion: the weapon view should stay active until a couple of seconds after they hit. I find it impossible to get a view of a weapon hitting the target using bombs, napalm, any ground weapon.

 

Suggestion2 - a missle lock diamond would be nice in easy mode, like in normal, hard, etc.

 

What is "Action view"? I see no change with this command.

I think the action view is like a camera mounted on the top of the cockpit.As for the radar...the yellow DIAMOND IS FOR EASY AND NORMAL modes...hard mode you get no diamond..it's kind of a guessing game for who you have locked up,if your wingman is in front of you it could get ulgy fast.as for the views..might try reassigning them to different keys.

never seen the diamond in easy mode, after about 50 flights.

 

You're right It does show in normal/hard mode tho.

 

Yes, i could remap views but was wondering if this is a bug and wether it will be in the patch.

sorry forgot. the Action view - is the screen supposed to change when this key is hit? I see no difference either cockpit or external when its hit.

 

I supposed it could have something to do with recording the action for later review and is just not implemented yet.....

The lock box is showing up for the hard difficulty settings? That shouldn't be happening.

I was thinking that the action view would be similar to what was in EAW. But it doesn't seem to do anything for me either. If it is suppose to be like whats in EAW, it would be kool.

check your settings..in HARD settings you shouldn't have the lock diamond on your target....and the action view is the view that looks like you're sitting on top of the canopy.

I had this prob and I got game voice and now I use all voice commands and I have no problems

The lock dimond ,Ive only seen it in easy and normal myself,as far as the keymapping lets see what happenes after the first patch

before I got the game voice I remapped all the keys and that seemed to work fine, I just was always forgeting where the hell I put them
