Question For Navychief

As I was too young to work on or see them in action,do you recall if the Viggie carried external stores other than drop tanks? I know that they had a bomb bay between the engines but I can't remember seeing a photo of the carrying bombs on the wings.

By the time I saw a Vigilante (1973), it was at Pax River, and they didn't have anything except the "bathtub" apparatus underneath, with the cameras. The Pax River aircraft, leastwise while I was there from 73-76, did not carry any bombs. Also, when I went on CarQual dets, the Viggies onboard did not either. I would like to see pictures of one carrying them though!
