Broadside uda Barn Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 Good grief! The Spad 13 is a beast to fly. Too much rudder and it throws you into a hard spin. I kept crashing and crashing, until finally I tried the Se5a. First (QC) mission, I actually made some great manoevers, lost no wings, avoided all spins, and downed a couple of planes (I knew I wasnt THAT bad of a pilot). I'm just trying things out on medium difficulty, so that helps a bit, but why would anyone want to fly a spad? (well, besides the speed, and the dual guns...heh). Question: Does the trigger actually fire both the main AND the top wing mounted gun? I cant tell whether they are both firing....dunno if I need to configure another button for it. Broadside

BuB, You can set up the weapons to fire jointly or individually GoTo Controls\Weapons I think 1 is refered as the MG and the other the Cannon - cfs3 lingo
Broadside uda Barn Posted July 13, 2009 Author Posted July 13, 2009 Thanks Duce...Yeah, it was set to fire both. good to be sure :) Al, you're right! I'm not fond of the spad atm. The Dr1 on the other hand....very enjoyable to fly :) I might just have to switch sides.
+Olham Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 Hey, of course it's nicer to fly on my side, BuB! Individual colours, the best fighters with the Dr.1 and the DVII, and - best of it - two guns are our STANDARD! Also, you don't have to fly deep into enemy terrain - you're back for lunch!
