trying to delete the pilots somehow corruped OFF. Cant get it to load anymore.

It loads the initial screens, gives me a mission, then after "contact, clear" it locks, showing the

"WW1 world initializing" page.

Task manager shows that it locks as soon as cfs3 begins to run and shows OFF as not repsonding. If I close CFS3 thru task manager, OFF becomes active again.

dont know if this is connected to my trying to delete all of the inactive pilots...but that was the last time OFF worked.

I've created new pilots, tried both campaign and QC, but everything locks up.

Guess I need to reinstall?

Suggestions?

I am an idiot but sometimes in similar instances for me it turns out that my screen resolutions had somehow gotten set to the wrong setting and when I set it back to what I had it works. Dumb.... I know, just want to help.

There seemed to be an error, since I would hear a "ding" when it hit that screen.

Today was my day to play OFF, so it's frustrating. So I bit the bullet and reinstalled. After all patches, it works!

Lesson learned. Dont delete pilots.

Good news though--i didnt have to reload my graphic or Joystick/pedal options!

It happened to me once after installing a new graphics card. The screen resolution was too low, I think. Anyway setting the resolution properly seemed to fix it.
