PinkPanther 0 Posted July 24, 2009 (edited) Hey, I just saw a news video on ABC today where another ex-marine killed a bear with a log. Bear was attacking his kid so he threw a log at the bears head and it killed the 300lb black bear. Good thing it wasn't a grizzly because you would need a whole tree to kill one of those. There have been cases of Mountain Lions stalking people and attacking them in B.C. so they are not as reclusive as the article states. When I lived in Victoria I had to ride my mountain bike at night to work and there was a mountain lion about that had a attacked a 5 year old boy. They finally caught it right near where I worked and where I worked was in a suburban area of Victoria and not way out in the wild.
