+SayethWhaaaa Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 Is there an upper limit for the size of the .wav file when creating sound effects? I've just ripped a new helicopter engine sound, but I get silence in game. All the entries (AFAIK) are altered correctly... Quote
+Spillone104 Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 For what I know there is no limit in duration. But there are limit in the format. The file must be a .Wav in PCM format and in these frequencies: 11,025 KHz, 22,050 KHz, 44,100 KHz and preferable in 8bit mono. And all can be done with the default windows sound recorder. Quote

+SayethWhaaaa Posted July 20, 2009 Author Posted July 20, 2009 ...are there any issues with it being in 16bit format?? Quote
+Fubar512 Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 ...are there any issues with it being in 16bit format?? None whatsoever. All of my sound files are 16-bit, and some are 44100 hz 16-bit. Quote
