CAT files, just what's in there?

Hi,

 

I have 11 CAT files in SF2E, so if I want to extract xxxxx.ini I assume I have to now extract all 11 CAT files before finding the .ini file I'm after? Is there a list of what is in each of these CAT files please? I get the impression things were a little simpler in the original series regarding this!
