Weird joystick layout

So i got the Vietnam 1984 add on, and I went to go fly. But the controls are messed up from how I normally fly. So how do I edit the controls to get it to my likings, I tried where you normally edit the controls but it didn't work

 

Also how do I edit the flight model difficulty for that too.

when in the control setup, select the profile that you used to use, and hit save. Should be all set :)

If it's pre-08 patch level, and came with the AircarftObject.ini, delelte that new one as it messing things up. (covered somwhere in one of the threads in the KB, possibly the "Things You Need To Update" one, concerning 08 tweeks and fixes

 

as to FM diffuculty, only really be rebuilding all the aerodynamic coefficents in the various aircraft's data ini. However, in your /Options menu you'll find a whole bunch of adjustments you can do to make life "more interestering"
