Hi A1!

I would suggest that the airplanes to be installed are of easy install. This EA-18G.7z has folders like the agrusn1, seat_SJU-17, wich are not clear where to put them, and a "Add to weapondata.txt" file when there isn't any "weapondata.txt" file in WOV directory.

So, I would strongly recomend to keep it simple. Using .exe addons, like the ones from Mirage Factory, or simply dragging and drop folders. Otherwise there is a strong possibility not everybody beeing able to install all of the new planes correctly and this WOV5 project would have very little number of users, or even worse, becomes a dead project. I have had my own bad experiences with this kind of "tricky" addons and at the end they don't work properly.

Keep it simple, clean and cool, with no messy installs.

These two don't need to change the date in their respective ...DATA.ini files.

Also, this MiG-21 Complete Pack 1.3. It has the right versions of the MiG-21 for each Thirdwire product, including the WOV, of course.

It's simple to install, just copy and paste and click yes to overwrite the original files. Each model has their correspondent cockpit! Sweet :biggrin:

WOV v.7.10.06, WOV september 2008 update. Do i have to install all those patches including what you mentioned above or just the 2 patch you said

ah great then, i was kinda of confusing when he added "...." between the two patch,i thought his saying i should install all patch from 15.06 to 8.30.06

Hello everyone !!! ATTENTION !!! Because of the recent CombatAce update all AIRCRAFT links (on CombatAce.com) are NOT working... !!! I will be compiling a new updated list of aircraft.... and as soon as we agree on how to link everyone to the necessary files we will be posting a new set of links !!!

I will be checking back to see how things are going with CombatAce.com and updating the post as necessary... :)

i think we should all invest time into the program called "PLAYXPERT".... i believe in time, it may replace our current way of networking [i.e hamachi] and playing games online like WOV and so on.........

to find it...... well it should be on the top of the forum page under playxpert....

read up on it to see if u would give it a try.

The posting of files have been reopened for this forum

guys do remember this doesn't mean that u have to post a large amount of files in the space of a week.....

so i say again files only from comebatace.com and column5.us r to be posted......

if u have tested a file on ur system and it runs well that shouldn't be the only basic to add that file to the forum it should be playable in multi-player "i.e have weapons and all other working aspects to it functioning correctly"

if it cant be used in multi-player we don't need it here...
