If you encounter an issue where you're seeing alpha objects (trees) flickering through clouds, apply this quick and easy fix. open up your environment system file (it may need to be extracted from the flightdata.cat), scroll down to the cloud material entries, and perform the following edit: TextureStage[01].MipMap=FALSE edit to read TextureStage[01].MipMap=TRUE

 

Directly underneath it, add the following line: TextureStage[01].MipMapLevels=6

 

This fix was tested with Stary's GreenHell2, Cellinsky's Widesky mod, and with the DetailMeshSize set to "16" (in the flightengine.ini file).
