jet_spud Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 (edited) hi again, more newbie questions i'm afraid looking on the net there are so many aircraft from diferant era's for SFG1 (i've got SFG - i'm keeping WOV, WOE & WOI vanilla seperate installs), and scenery/maps that i reckon i'll be needing several installs! i've currently got all postwar jets on my base install, and already i'm getting overlap - the options.ini doesn't seem very effective at keeping them apart in SFG. i'm thinking of splitting them down a bit more anyway cos the list is getting a bit long. perhaps i'll do a desert storm or a korean theme for the base install or something. i'm thinking of doing some ww2 installs next, using maps here for BoB, africa, burma, pacific, germany etc. plus falklands in 1982 which is a must have for me - might have to start the sea harriers in the air though..... presume that's possible but not quite sure the best way to go about it? should i rename my base install and then add new ones, renaming it each time by adding a differant file extention name each time, then remove the file extension just prior to running it so that the desktop icon loads the SFG install temporarily without an extensionl? or is there a better way to do it? thanks.
