SE5a with added detail and 'greener' PC dope

This is a repaint of the SE5a to add a bit of detail and definition to the model and make it appear more 'green' as SE5as occasionally did when the PC dope was mixed differently. I have painted on the fuselage side lacing with more definition and put new creases into that covering based on photographs of a few SE5as. The wings have been repainted to show a more realistic wear effect on the rib stitching and where the main spar contacts the covering. On the underside, I have attempted to emulate the translucent effect of clear doped linen to show the wing spars and ribs, as well as a bit of dirtying up having been added. I've made it look as though a minor repair has been effected on the starboard lower wing covering from a few bullet holes having been patched, although this is very minor and not over the top, merely to add some interest. Overall, the skin has been given a bit of general wear and tear, although the appearance of the aircraft is still relatively well cared for, just showing a bit of typical scuffing from a few week's worth of service. The wheel fairings have had the tire valve access hole added and the spokes made visible inside the wheel. There are a couple of other minor texture tweaks too, such as a recolouring of the wing struts and undercarriage stanchion fairings, based on observations of the Shuttleworth Collection's SE5a.

Instructions for installation are included in a small read me file, although there's nothing complicated about installing it, Al 'Chock' Bradbury.

Have fun, feel free to mess with it or redistribute it (keeping in mind Third Wire's rules), and bag a Hun for me. Chocks away chaps, jolly good show!

Very nice Chock! I like the transparency and the "repair" - adds an unexpected touch of realism. Thank you! I hope this is just the first from you...

Actually, it would be the second on here, there's a DVII Fokker factorypaint job by me in there somewhere from a good while ago, and if you are into MS FS at all, I'm currently making a freeware Airco D.H.4 for that, which is well under way. Anyway, glad you like it
