Missile anti missile aviable ?

Ladies and Gentlemans !

 

I was apologize since yesterday on Weapon anti Weapon( both of categories Real & Fictional/what if)

-Missile anti missile:

-SAM anti onboard Missile(air to air)

-AtoAMissile anti AtoAMissile ( I was read somthing maybe B-1B have, Fictional Airvolf have)

-ICBM anti AtoAMissile ( now in test phase in USAF)

-ICBM anti Surface to Air Missile (USA and Soviet have, like Patriot)

 

-Missile and UAV anti Gun :

- on ships, carriers

- maybe aviable shoot down to missiles etc... with aircraft's gun

There is only one WMD v incoming, supersonic a-to-a: PRAY!

By the way, several times over DARWIN and TIMOR I was lucky to be able to "play around" with the sams even at low alt. They were real pesky, yet I enjoyed being shot at many times and they missed! I was flying my Sukhoi-27 TNI-AU ("enhanced" personally, i.e. an Su-27 J11 using Su-27 Russian).

 

Re missile anti a-to-a above, even the most advanced LASER weap developed by the USAF (DARPA) could not do the job, especially v INCOMING SAMs HEAD ON, like the Russian "US Carriers Killer" that cab skim the sea at 15 feet at more than Mach 2. Yes, the US side did some ground testing v some missiles, yet the LASER shot SIDWAYs...... at the body of the sams.

Mach 2 is glacially slow, compared to 186,262 miles per second.
