Increase "Zoom and Pan" Speeds?

Recommended Posts

Sorry, I guess I should know this, but is there a way to increase the speed at which the cockpit views zoom and pan around via an entry in the respective *controls.ini? I personally find it too slow and am not really a "snap view" fan...thanks for any insight on this.

Go to root folder, controls, there You ' ll find a file called 'default', in there You find values for aircraft controls AND camera controls, You can change any value You want...

You'll have to extract the VIEWLIST.ini and place it in your flight folder. I'd upload mine, but not sure if you have SF2 or 1..

Silverbolt is a knowledgeable person on that matter, as I used a tweaked version of his.

Yep, thanks guys...I did get that far, but wasn't sure what values would have the most impact...i.e., "Saturation?"

DecreaseControl=CAMERA_YAW_LEFT

Edit; Sorry I misread the question. TrackIR here:grin:

For external camera. In viewlist.ini change:

ZoomScale=0.5

0.5 pretty fast, the default was a slow 0.1.

I changed the camera min and max value for pitch and yaw to 3000 and -3000 . the zoom control to 2000 and -2000 and all saturation values to 300. it worked for me, good luck :-)
