Noob here. What is this "A-Team" folks are referring to? I tried to google it, and all's I get are links to that stupid TV show.

 

I have no problem dragging and dropping the zip files into FE Objects, but what do you do with the "rar" files? I downloaded the NE 28, and am not sure quite what to do to install it. It doesn't seem to register when I drop it into the object files.

".rar" files are compressed files just like ."zip" files and you need to "uncompress" them just like you "umcompress" .zip files.

This little app is excellent for extracting RAR files:

Just drag 'n drop the file into it and press the 'Extract' button.

I used "extractnow" to open the rar file, and while itappears to extract the file, when I drag and drop it into the aircraftlist, it doesn't register in the list of planes when I bring up FirstEagles. It really doesn't make sense. It's a folder just like the unzipped ones, but it doesn't show up in my on-screen plane selection.

That's 'cause the skin folder is inside the folder contained within the zip folder...
