Minipatch 1.32g - Performance Problems

Hi there,

 

after having installed the mini patch 1.32g the game doesn't run smooth any more. I am experiencing heavy stutters while flying. Prior to that I had patched the game to 1.32f and everything was fine. My pc has a Geforce 7950 X2 graphics card, 2 GB Ram and a 4600 MHZ X2 AMD processor. What is the problem, does anybody know? Please help me out.

After you modify the game in any major way

 

or

 

Change out the video card, or update it's drivers

 

or

 

Do a system restore, for something not associated with OFF at all

 

You MUST re-configure your video card in workshop. Plus it would be a good time to check your Detail Sliders, overrides, and settings of all kinds. That also means, any little tweaks you might've applied

 

Yes as uncleal says try running the Graphics config from Workshop (see the FAQ for info on setting up graphics).

Things I already tried to solve the trouble:

 

1. set the graphics details on lowest possible setting

2. set display resolution on a very low level 800x600

= still heavy stutters

 

As I had the game running with 1920x1080 and Details set on second level I guess, the trouble must have been connected with the 1.32g patch. So I deinstalled the whole game and reinstalled up to version 1.32f (which ran extremely well before). Now I don't have a clou what to do. Apart from trying a system restore. I'll be back... ;-)
