F-16 IAF NETZ of WOI

:salute:Hi Wrench and Dave, and everyone has the knowledge of it:

As said, I migrated to WOE only, left behind my WOI. Most of planes (stocl and Add-Ons) moved to WOE that now has IsraelMe Terrains too in addition to Darwin Modern, Libya, Timor, Kashmir and Snowy Norway. The last two worked just fine.

 

I have not flown the IAF NETZs, yet encountered them in some air battles in whatever terrain I was flying over on specific mission. The Netz made an intercept. Yet, none showed up, even when my radar indicated their presence. Hit F8 to see one of them on the RED cone. Blank, and its speed was always zero. So they acted like ghosts planes. Even my long-range, the Chinese SD-10 (very deadly, even the F-18s could not beat it) was useless that I decided to resume the MSN, v. ships or striking ground targets.

 

1: can I just extract some of the needed dot ini of the Netz from the Object.ini? Btw, even when I was still in WOI, the Netz decal the David Star on its vertstab had gone aaas well, so the stab looked more like a see thru glass. Funny plane!

2: Which Block is it in the DL Section? 16 C Block 15 or 10? Cannot find it here to DL. Perha[s I should try CheckSix?

 

Additional info for Wrench re the Snowy Norway. On my Recon MSN, I blasted so many whose SeaHak choppers that flew low. Their pilots was dumb perhaps they made no evasive move, like saying kill me, kill me. So, I use more of my cannons. Then, Debby alert me of incoming enemy planes. So I went to airbattle them, got one of them in my radar, and boom! All my long-range a-a acted wildly slamming onto the nearby SNOWY mountain. I instantly was thinking, was it due to the snow covered mountain that reflected the SUN????

:salute:Excuse my directness, I have been expecting replies mostly from anyone here in the community, who are truly willing to help me re the above matters. I understand that most of you (of my age, namely mid- or late-40s to early 50s, whatever professions they still have in real life on the ground) are very busy with your "money-making" activities in this uncertain, rapidly-changing world affairs. Yet, I believe that some of you really nice folks still have the time to -- at least one hour or more every week-ends -- to reach out especially the ones with said "plea," with your kind assistance.

 

Else, I would just be like those unfortunate souls around Dupont Circle, who have been starving for days, their pockets gone empty, and definitely homeless; yet not a single passerby seemed to bother to ease their pains (the needy).

Eject, I have no clue what you are trying to convey here. Something lost in translation for sure.Are you saying there planes you are flying against are not showing up? If so, do you have the LOD's in the aircraft folder too?

WOE has no F-16 files in it - so to move over the stock Netz you need to extract all 114 files and the decal files - they all need to go into Aircraft\F-16ANetz and Aircraft\F-16ANetz\cockpit

 

 

For your additional info - it sounds like you were using AIM-7s at low level and incorrectly - either that or you dont understand that a radar lock can only be used with AIM-7/AIM-120 types - NOT AIM-9s

:salute:DAVE and MiGBuster, my sincere thanks for your replies. To, Dave, kindly ignore rests of what I was writing down there, treat it as a lost, lonely guy in the desert. Have a nice, terror-free weekend with your respective family. I sure will read my files DL from here, chiefly the KnowledgeBase on exporting planes.
