SF2 Israel, Missing Flogger Texture?

Anyone else seen this? I installed the 5 planes for 6 day mod/addon, and the Dessault Ouragan plane. I dont know if I screwed something up, or if this is a bug with the stock game. Neither of those mods/addons does anything with migs.

That's not a texture problem, it's a LOD problem. You are missing the 3d model for that particular aircraft. Also, you are no longer running a stock install if you've added mods. Check how you installed the mod to make sure all the files needed were included.

Yeah, you should have seen me with my nose mashed against the screen trying to see this guy, nothing but a vapor trail to chase.

I'll double check. I might have been in the merged VEI install as I was checking out both that night.

 

I have found several cases of broken lods in the merged install. It goes beyond hud breaks.

 

so much so that I am wondering if keeping SF2I as its own stand alone might be the better way to go.

ah.

 

yep, confirmed in a single install. I dropped a cockpit into it just to ensure that I had it for a test mission. deleting now.........
