Fortiesboy Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 Was I seeing things or was there not a topic reporting the death of actor Richard TODD, who happened to be a WW ll veteran of some distinction and who played Guy Gibson in the Dambusters film, thus making a sort of link with Aviation combat history.? It seems to have gone. Didn't seem to be anymore OT than a lot of stuff here?
+Dave Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 Psst because it got moved here. http://forum.combatace.com/topic/50536-richard-todd-r-i-p/
JimAttrill Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 Damn. I used to have a video copy (recorded from the TV) of the film. It was interesting because of the shots of the genuine Lancasters as the film was made before all but one was melted down to make saucepans.
